The finish line includes a festive waterfront gathering for the race community, where runners and walkers can celebrate their achievements together. Over the years, the Craven County Tourism Development Authority and Weyerhaeuser have contributed over $25k from the Half Marathon event proceeds to the American Legion Post 539 in New Bern to support programs and services for local veterans.
