The annual MumFest 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is presented by New Bern Parks and Recreation.   This flat course will begin and end at beautiful Union Point Park, located at 210 East Front Street in downtown New Bern.  Day of registration  begins at 6:00am.  The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:30am.  The 5K will begin at 9:00am.  Advance registration for the 1 Mile Fun Run is $20.00 per person and $25.00 per person for the 5K.  Day of registration for the 1 Mile run is $25 and $30.00 for the 5K.  Registration fees include a race t-shirt, finisher medals (5K only) and participation ribbons (1 Mile fun Run only).

For the 5K, awards will be given to the overall top three male and female finishers as well as the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age categories:  10U; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over.
