In commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center, the Havelock Police Department will hold its annual memorial service on Saturday, September 11 at the Havelock 9/11 Memorial located by the Police department building. The service will begin promptly at 8:15am and the remembrance will begin at 8:46am, the same time that American Airlines Flight 11 hit the World Trade Center’s North Tower.  The event will conclude at 9:03am, the same time United Flight 175 crashed into the World Trade Center’s South Tower.

Please, plan to arrive by 8:00am and remember to silence all mobile devices during the memorial service in respect of those who lost their lives on that day.
