It’s the Pau Hana Songwriters Night again at the illustrious Brown Pelican in New Bern. Pau Hana means “finished work” in Hawaiian. Hosted by Dr. Paul Deering, Alice Osborn of Raleigh is the featured guest singer-songwriter. All original show! Alice Osborn, from Raleigh, North Carolina, is a singer-songwriter who performs folk Americana rooted in the New South all over the South. Her music features upbeat tempos, poignant lyrics, catchy melodies, and powerful vocals—and fun! Alice’s acoustic originals are influenced by diverse artists such as Natalie Merchant, Phil Collins, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. She is the President of the NC Songwriters Co-op.
