It’s a New Bern tradition attended by hundreds: a Christmas trip down Canterbury is like a special-effects trip through space: colorful hanging orbs are suspended high in the trees like planets – and they are everywhere.
To ride, park at Bangert Elementary School and enter the hayride in front of the school, on Canterbury Road. For cooler nights, bringing blankets is a really good idea.
