This is the second of five lectures being offered by the Craven Community College’s Lifetime Learning Center centering around the fascinating history of the New Bern community. Speaker, Susan Moffat-Thomas will present on the history and restoration of Tryon Palace in this lecture. Before retiring in December 2014, Susan was the Executive Director of Swiss Bear Downtown Development Corporation. She serves on the boards of both Craven Community College and the Tryon Palace Foundation.
