Pet-Friendly Adventures

Here in New Bern, we believe pets deserve vacation days too. That’s why we have crafted a tailor-made itinerary for you and your fur babies. In addition to several restaurants and shops that are pet friendly, we have a wide range of overnight accommodations that welcome pets. For a full list of these and more, visit this link and verify accomodation partner policies.

Just down the street is the Bruin Craft Beer & Wine store. This New Bern staple consistently maintains an inventory of 100+ North Carolina craft beers. Wine lovers fear not, they’ve got you covered too.

Stop #3:

Now that you are hydrated, it’s time to find a spot to dine. You will be hard-pressed to find a restaurant that offers better views than Persimmons. The outdoor waterfront dining area features picturesque views of the Neuse River. Your doggo will appreciate the shade sails.

Cap off your evening with a trip to the 99th Brewery in North Carolina state history. In May of 2021, Brewery 99 moved operations to Pollock Street. Dogs and humans alike appreciate the upgraded space, which includes a beer garden.
